Sneezeweed

Helenium puberulum

Sneezeweed, Roslina, or H. puberulum can be an annual or perennial that is found in moist environments throughout California, known for their bright yellow flower clusters. While the leaves crawl along the ground, the flower stocks grow up to 5 feet tall in the summer time and brown as they age.  

H. Puberulum will prefer more water, well draining or standing soil, and full sun conditions for the best flowering. They are also known to support caterpillars, butterflies, and bees.
