Island Aluum Root

Heuchera maxima is a herbaceous perennial groundcover that flowers in the spring and winter, and is evergreen year-round. This plant can spread by seed and root to help fill empty garden spaces, but each plant can grow to be 2 feet wide with 2 foot tall stalks. This species is found in coastal regions where it can tolerate full sun but will need more shade in hotter regions.
