Climbing Penstemon

Keckiella cordifolia or Climbing Penstemon creates a lush appearance with striking scarlet flowers. But K. corifolia will lose its leaves in the summer and will bloom in the spring to summer. The blooms attract various pollinators and is especially important as a host plant for said pollinators. For best results, place in a partial shade and supply with minimal when established. This plant can take up to 6 feet in either direction but is usually a low growing variety.
