Giant coreopsis

Leptosyne gigantea or Giant Coreopsis is a unusally shaped perrennial that is Summer and Winter deciduous. And when you do see it blooming, the daisy-like flowers contrast beautifully with the bright green leaves at the top of their trunk. It can even grow up to 8 feet when conditions permit. But ideally L. gigantea will prefer little water, full sun, and well draining soil in Coastal areas.
