Fremontodendron californicum is a medium to large woody shrub that grows up to 8 feet tall. Large, cup-shaped yellow flowers in Spring. Low water. Prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Evergreen. Bright flowers preferred by hummingbirds and other pollinators.
