Mirabilis laevis is a low-growing desert shrub that produces pink flowers and little berries in the spring and winter. In the winter you will find this plant  will lose its leaves in the late summer. Use this plant to cover empty spaces in the garden and attract moths & butterflies! Expect it to get around eight feet wide and about one foot tall, it will not need very much water to grow.
