Chaparral Yucca

It's called Chaparral Yucca, but I have also seen it in the Coastal Sage Scrub. When it is on flower, it is the most beautiful creamy white ever. And as a bonus, all those flowers are edible! 

It is the host plant for the yucca moth, which is also the pollinator.

Needs complete sun. Won't accept anything less.

Fits neatly in its place.
